If you have very good knowledge of German or English, you can take part directly in the relevant focus course. For English-language focus courses you need at least a completed language level B1 (according to GER) in English. For German-language focus courses you must demonstrate a language level of B1 in German and for the W course you must also demonstrate level A2 in English.

If you do not have the required language level, you can take part in our language preparation course.

In addition to checking the formal requirements based on the references and certificates you submit, we get an impression of your linguistic and personal suitability in an online interview, depending on the applicant profile.

Of course, we will be happy to provide you with information on the topic of “living in the Cologne area” and involve you in everyday student life at Fresenius University as well as local cultural events. We also offer special advice to promote your qualifications individually.
